Pavilion, sculptural installation, Murano glass, metal, and glass
The result of an artist residency that began in 2019, the work holds a special place at Usina de Arte, bringing together architecture, landscape design, and sculpture in a single experience. It combines a pavilion inspired by the geometry of crystals, a sculptural ensemble of metal rods and Murano glass, and an orchid house that shelters thousands of specimens from one of the park's most important botanical collections. The installation arises from the interplay between the order of geometric forms and the harmonious chaos of vegetation, making visible the tensions between control and freedom, artifice and nature. In Jardim Frágil, art and nature appear as interdependent elements. Walking through it, visitors encounter the delicacy of the orchids, the transparency of the glass, and the rigorous design of the architectural structure in an ever-provisional balance, as beautiful as it is vulnerable.
