Various metals
3.15 m high
Scrap metal, work tools, car and motorcycle parts, and discarded toys take the shape of a metal tree laden with memories. Each fragment incorporated into the sculpture carries traces of earlier uses, bringing together the stories of different people and objects in a new composition. The work suggests a constant cycle of transition, in which what seemed destined for abandonment takes on new meanings and a new existence. The tribute to the workers of the past merges with the artist's own path, as he finds in art a form of renewal and discovery.
