Industrial stainless steel and aircraft parts
Variable dimensions

Originally created in the United States for the exhibition Latin American Artists of the Twentieth Century at MoMA in New York, Unclassified brings together stainless steel scrap and discarded components from the American military aircraft industry, turning technological waste into a structure with an organic and unpredictable appearance. Like a forest made of metal remains, the work suggests that the boundaries between the artificial and the natural are less stable than they seem, pointing to the impermanence and reinvention of matter.
