Sculpture in white-painted metal and blue glass
2 x 1.13 m
Installed at Usina de Arte in 2023, Pássaro distills recurring themes in Marianne Peretti's work, such as luminosity, flight, and the idea of transformation. The sculpture combines white metal volumes with a delicate blue glass element that suggests the bird's eye. Resting on a geometric base and a symbolic egg, the piece alludes to birth, renewal, and freedom, in a composition of great formal simplicity that interweaves art, nature, and spirituality.
