data-interaction-id=\"b52525e\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-id=\"b52525e\">The work revisits a little-known episode in Pernambuco's history: the Cabanada Revolt, which took place between 1832 and 1836. On transparent glass panels, Liliane Dardot brings together figures of local residents and elements of the Atlantic Forest, alluding to the groups of Black people, Indigenous people, small landowners, and poor free men who found refuge in the vegetation of the Zona da Mata during the conflict. The transparency of the material makes the images appear and disappear as the viewer moves. In this installation, the landscape becomes a living document.
